TKH-Coventry School of Computing

Welcome Message From Head Of School

Welcome to the School of Computing (SoC) at Coventry University – Egypt branch!

The main objective of the SoC is to be a premier venue for students, researchers, and practitioners to share new ideas and develop unique learning experiences in various computing fields in-line with Egypt 2030 vision.

The SoC offers the following three undergraduate technology-oriented programs: Computing, Computer Science, and Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity. During their years of studies, our students are exposed to state-of-the-art knowledge and education that prepare them to attain rewarding careers and leading positions in this competitive High-Tech world. Students will be applying concepts learned in modern computer labs equipped with recent software and hardware ranging from advanced software tools to Intrusion Prevention Systems and Virtual Reality studios. Distinguished in their fields of expertise, our Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers are committed to lifelong learning, the integration of applied research and teaching, and the development of professionals who are productive, and ready to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Witnessing the fast information technology transformations in recent years, the school has introduced several modules, e.g. Data Science, Machine Learning, Security Audit, and Applied Forensics, dedicated to educating new-generations, preparing them for the emerging technological innovations.

The school looks forward to strengthening its partnership with leading industry players, and is striving to promote technological innovations and actively encouraging technology transfers through extra-curricular activities, e.g. site visits, guest speakers, conferences, competitions, and hackathons.

Our faculty and staff are all together, working hard to make our school a metaverse where students’ dreams come true! I invite you to explore our website and discover more about us, and look forward to welcoming you to our school !
