We’re thrilled to announce our Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity (EHC) students’ extraordinary success in the recent TrendMicro “Capture The Flag” (CTF) competition that took place on Saturday December 16th, 2023 and that was hosted at the Information Technology Institute (ITI). With 31 local universities and over 400 students participating, our TKH-Coventry School of Computing students made a significant impact, securing an impressive 5 spots within the top 20.
Special applause to Arwa Essam Abdelaziz, who emerged as the 1st place winner among all participants!
EHC students’ dominance extended further as they proudly claimed the 1st, 6th, 10th, 11th, and 13th ranks in the overall competition standings as per the following order: Arwa Essam Abdelaziz (Level 5), Ahmed Nader Hussein (Level 6), Adham Sameh (Level 3), Omar Mostafa Ali (Level 5), and Ziad Amin Ahmed (Level 6).
We’re excited to share that each of the top ten winners received an invitation for a complimentary training course from TrendMicro, the event sponsor. Additionally, ITI generously provided our winning students with a $500 voucher from the EC Council.
