United Nations Delegation and Assistant Secretary General, Victor Kisob Visits The Knowledge Hub Universities and Coventry University Branch at New Administrative Capital
Ihab Salama, CEO of El Sewedy Education, received a UN delegation headed by Mr. Victor Kisob, Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, on the 3rd of November 2019 at The Knowledge Hub Universities. The delegation’s visit to Egypt was to outline the successful cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Nations Human Settlements Program.
During the visit, the UN delegation discussed means of cooperation with the Egyptian Government on future projects, all focused on initiatives targeting economic development. In addition to The Knowledge Hub Universities, several other vital facilities at the New Capital were observed by the delegation.
The Knowledge Hub Universities is being developed on 50 feddans, with the first building, delivering academic programmes in partnership with Coventry University as of September 2019, having a built-up area of 13,700sqm providing all necessary facilities matching both the needs of highly-impactful academic delivery in addition to other recreational activities.
The Knowledge Hub Universities is a new model in higher education designed to enhance the framework of collaboration between different stakeholders in the education ecosystem, including international universities, the private sector and public universities in Egypt and the region.
