Taking Great Measures to Ensure Quality Education

Founder and Chairman of El Sewedy Education, Engineer Ahmed El Sewedy, received a high-level delegation from the British government last month. The visit was led by UK Prime Minister Trade Envoy to Egypt, Honorable Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, and the British Ambassador to Egypt, Sir Geoffrey Adams, and took place in the headquarters of The Knowledge Hub Universities.

In light of the upcoming academic year, the main purpose of this visit was to emphasize the level of quality education as well as call attention to the efforts exerted by The Knowledge Hub and Coventry University to set up this branch.

The delegation included officers of the British Embassy in Cairo, along with officers from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

One of the pinnacles of this visit was checking Coventry University’s building in the New Administrative Capital to oversee the latest updates on its official opening, which is scheduled in September, with the start of the new academic year.

Moreover, the delegation went on a comprehensive inspection tour to examine all the special construction works done in Coventry University’s branch. They went over the logistical preparations necessary for carrying out the educational system.

Coventry University is renowned for using multidisciplinary learning methods. So, its new branch in Egypt aims to parallel the same exceptional experience students get in the UK.

Engineer Ahmed El Sewedy stressed that the visit to The Knowledge Hub Universities’ headquarters and Coventry University’s branch is considered an assurance of El Sewedy Education’s futuristic vision and strong commitment to provide an unmatched level of Higher Education in Egypt.

Providing a Rich Educational Experience

In addition, the system will integrate the latest technological advancements used in educational systems worldwide. From the syllables to the use of multidisciplinary learning techniques that

enhance interactions between professors, experts, and officers. And most importantly accommodate the needs of the workforce today.

The goal here is to create a healthy educational environment which promotes student activities and provides all of the requirements of a unique educational experience.

On his part, Mr. Ihab Salama, CEO of El Sewedy Education, stated that the educational system of the Coventry University’s branch operates with the identical educational methods applied in the main university. He also stressed that this visit reinforces the cooperation between The Knowledge Hub Universities and educational institutions and universities in the UK.

Mr. Salama said that the executive management of El Sewedy Education are concerned with providing an exceptional level of Higher Education in Egypt. “This stems from our deep-rooted belief in education as the keystone of development,” he added.

Finally, He explained that the organization is looking to enhance the advanced educational methods applied in Egypt. A step which resonates with the national strategy of 2030 and its vision to elevate education.

Coventry University: An Educational Gem

It’s worth mentioning that graduates of Coventry University in Egypt receive the same certificate as graduates in the UK. The internationally-recognized degree eliminates differences between students of Coventry University in Egypt or the UK.

El Sewedy Education has contracted with Coventry University in the UK to open up an international branch in the Knowledge Hub Universities. The latter introduced their faculties of Engineering, Accounting, Design and Media, on Egyptian land for the very first time and using the same syllabuses and techniques applied in the main university.

Coventry University is named first in the UK and third across Europe in the quality of participatory education according to Times Higher Education (THE) organization for Higher Education in Europe. It also ranks second in the UK as per the government’s Teaching Excellence Framework.

15th best university in the UKfifth in Architecture and third in Mechanical Engineering according to the Guardian University Guide 2020. Additionally, Coventry University is the “University of the Year for student experience” based on The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.
