During this week and all semester long, we always need your help as we come together as a community against Covid-19, so please remember to:

1- Check your temperature at the gates daily before entry.
2- Sanitize your hands before entry and regularly throughout the day.
3- Face masks are mandatory during your in-campus time.
Blended learning
  • Blended learning means that courses will be delivered via a mix of on-campus and online activity. Our on-campus delivery will be carried out in line with government rules and regulations, including the appropriate social distancing requirements.
  • Our timetabling will be managed to avoid large gatherings of students and to minimize the number of days per week that commuting students will need to travel onto campus.
  • In order to adhere to the blended learning criteria, each school will be on campus 2 days per week on a rotational basis with the other schools.
Enhanced Building Hygiene
  • High traffic common areas in university buildings on campus will receive a regular deep clean with anti-viral disinfectant.
  • Day cleaning staff will focus on cleaning touch points using anti-viral disinfectant.
  • Hand sanitiser points and anti-viral wipes will be available in all university buildings.
  • Mobile sanitising stations will be installed in all university building main entrances and on each floor.
  • Alterations will be made to increase ventilation within university buildings where reasonably practicable.
  • ‘Fogging’ of areas will take place where appropriate. This is a method of deep cleaning which disinfects the air and surfaces within an office/workspace.
Social Distancing
  • Social distancing signage, floor markings and queuing system are placed on campus, these aspects are all included in the following: elevators, reception queues and corridors.
  • Restricted numbers will be permitted in buses, classrooms, library, and restaurants to stimulate social distancing.
Catering
  • All food and drink will be served in disposable boxes, with disposable cups, cutlery, and napkins. We will strive to use recyclable materials wherever possible.
  • Sanitising stations will be available in all catering outlets.
  • All surfaces within catering areas will be regularly cleaned with anti-viral disinfectant.
