The Knowledge Hub Universities is proud to announce the Groundbreaking of our New Branch Campus. TKH West is spread over 30 feddans in a strategic location in New Zayed city. The construction of the first phase of the new state-of-the-art branch campus is set to begin soon and will host both Coventry University & NOVA University Lisbon branches.

TKH West groundbreaking was attended by key figures including Mr. Ihab Salama, CEO of El Sewedy Education, with Professor. John Latham, CBE -– Vice- Chancellor and CEO of Coventry University Group, Professor. Richard Wells -– Pro- Vice- Chancellor (International), Coventry University, and Mr. Gary Armstrong – Associate Pro- Vice- Chancellor (International Business Development), along with other senior members of El Sewedy Education management.


TKH West branch campus will follow the same foot-steps of the TKH branch campus located in the New Administrative Capital and will operate under the International Branch Campus (IBC) law aiming to host branch of world-class universities, each to participate with undergraduate courses in their areas of strength.

Mr. Ihab Salama, stated that

“TKH West branch campus will have the same quality standards that have been implemented at the New Administrative Capital branch.”

Mr Salama also highlighted that students who will apply to the New Zayed branch campus will attend the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024 at the New Capital campus before moving to the West branch campus once all approvals have been obtained.  This will ensure that the campus is ready for our students with both branches of Coventry University & NOVA University operating.

He also added that he is looking forward to take this fruitful collaboration with the world-renowned universities; Coventry University & NOVA University to the next step and to expand to one more location inside Egypt.

For Coventry University Group Vice-Chancellor Professor John Latham CBE, TKH West highlights the success of the group’s international work.

He said: “This is a significant step as it highlights that our work as a global education group alongside communities in creating better futures is making an impact. This is happening through the power of our teaching, research and enterprise and innovation activity, allowing us to act as an economic development partner.“TKH East became our first international branch campus and it is testament to the success of that collaboration that we are now in a position to expand our offer in Egypt.“TKH West will allow us to reach a broader range of students and enable us to increase the number of programmes we have on offer in Egypt.”
