Jerial Eldeeb, an Alumni Mechanical Engineering student at The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH), has secured 1st place in the Innovative Robot Track at the national World Robot Games (WRG) competition, held at the Egyptian Space Agency on September 2, 2026.
Jerial competed with her graduation project, demonstrating how engineering knowledge and innovation can translate into practical solutions within the field of robotics. Her project was developed under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Eid, whose guidance supported Jerial throughout the development of her work.
The achievement marks an important milestone in Jerial’s journey as an engineer, taking a project that began as part of her academic experience at TKH to a national-level competition.
The World Robot Games (WRG) is a global robotics competition that brings together participants from countries around the world. Established in 2015, the competition has welcomed participation from more than 40 countries, providing a platform for young innovators and engineers to showcase their robotics projects and compete on an international level.
Following her first-place finish in the national competition, Jerial has now qualified to represent Egypt at the World Robot Games Global Competition in Japan, taking place in November 2026.
Jerial’s achievement reflects the value of combining academic learning with hands-on innovation and provides an inspiring example of how student projects can progress beyond the classroom and onto the international stage.
