“For a Safer Space” campaign aimed to raise university-wide awareness about sexual harassment in Egypt and address the common misunderstandings related to types of sexual harassment, consent, and how to be a supporter and advocate for victims of harassment and violence.
It also focused on the factors that create an environment that increases the behaviour of sexual harassment and ultimately protects its perpetrators.
Through various workshops, talks and panel discussions by leading figures in the community, the students gained a lot of knowledge
As our aim is to encourage dialogue about these issues and practice how to safely and effectively navigate discussing our roles in becoming active advocates in our TKH community. Male, female, staff or student; we all have a role in creating a safe environment in our university.
