The Nova University Lisbon branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH) is proud to announce that its academic degrees have officially received equivalency recognition from Egypt’s Supreme Council of Universities.
This pivotal milestone confirms that degrees awarded by Nova University Lisbon at TKH are now equivalent to those offered by Egyptian universities. Graduates are now fully eligible to register with relevant professional Syndicates and can use their degrees for all official documentation purposes—including military service clearance for male graduates.
Established under Law No. 162 regulating International Branch Campuses in Egypt, the Nova University Branch at TKH is the result of a strategic partnership with Nova University Lisbon, one of Portugal’s premier institutions of higher education. This recognition reflects the shared commitment to delivering internationally accredited, high-quality academic programmes in Egypt.
The official recognition is supported by the following decrees from the Supreme Council of Universities:
- Decree No. 181 – dated 18/06/2025: Grants degree equivalency for the BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management and the BSc in Environmental Engineering with the Egyptian bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Decree No. 100 – dated 20/03/2025: Grants degree equivalency for the BSc in Management with the corresponding Egyptian bachelor’s degree.
- Decree No. 101 – dated 20/03/2025: Grants degree equivalency for the BSc in Information Management with the corresponding Egyptian bachelor’s degree.
This recognition marks a significant leap forward for Nova University Lisbon at TKH and reaffirms its mission to empower students with qualifications that are respected and valued locally and globally.
