Admission and Tuition Fees


How to Apply

  • Create an account on The Knowledge Hub Universities Application Portal

  • Once you create your account, you will be able to fill out your application and save its progress

  • You will be required to upload the following documents in order to be able to submit your application:
    – Official, or Unofficial High School Transcript
    – Birth Certificate
    – National ID, or Passport
    – Passport Sized Photo
    – Personal Statement as per guidelines set by Coventry University (Guidelines for Engineering and Computing applicants  Guidelines for Design & Media applicants)
    – Upload your IELTS Certificate: An overall IELTS Score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 (UKVI, or Academic)
    You can upload your test booking payment voucher, or fill in the IELTS Consent Form IELTS consent form and upload it instead (available under the application instructions listed in the first page in the online application)

  • Start preparing the following documents to be uploaded to your application after submitting it (if they were not ready at the time of submission):
    – Recommendation Letter from a relevant Teacher, School Head, or School Counselor, on your school’s letterhead with a handwritten signature and stamp
    – Students applying to Design and Media programmes are required to submit a portfolio as per the guidelines set by Coventry University
    – Copy of Proof of 11 or 12 Years of Schooling. (11 Years of Schooling accepted only for IGCSE students)

  • Once your application is submitted, you will need to pay an application fee of EGP 1,200 
    (follow the instructions received on your email once you submit your application)

  • Make sure all your required documents are uploaded before the deadline set by the Admissions Office
    Early-bird application deadline: Feb 13th, 2020

  • A Conditional Offer will be sent to applicants who have submitted their grades or unofficial transcripts, offer will include a list of all missing original documents and conditions to receive a Final Acceptance

  • Once the application is complete and all required documents are uploaded, it will be reviewed for final acceptance. Accepted students will receive Coventry University Final Acceptance Letter

Admission Criteria and Required Documents

  • American Diploma
    Admission Criteria

    For Engineering and Computing Programmes:

      • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 based on all High School years
      • One Math course and one Science course are required to be covered during the last years of study, and English or English Literature are required from grades 9, 10, 11, or 12

    For Design and Media Programmes:

        • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0
        • One Math course is required to be taken during the last years of study, and English or English Literature are required from grades 9, 10, 11, or 12
    Required Documents
    • Official American Diploma Certificate (Grade 9, 10, 11, & 12) stamped from AdvancED
    • If the student took grades 9, 10, 11, 12 in different schools, they should bring a transcript for each grade separately
    • Proof of 12 Years of Schooling stamped from the Educational Administration
    • Original computerized Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Egyptian National ID & Passport
    • 6 passport sized photos
  • IGCSE British Certificate
    Admission Criteria

    For Engineering and Computing Programmes:

    • Applicants for all degrees have to submit 5 OL subjects plus 1 AS, or 8 OL subjects with a minimum grade of a C
    • Copy of Graduation Diploma
    • 5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and a Science subject plus 1 AS subject in one of the Science subjects or Math, or 8 OLs which include Math, English or English Literature, and a Science subject

    For Design and Media Programmes:

    • Applicants for all degrees have to submit 5 OL subjects plus 1 AS, or 8 OL subjects with a minimum grade of a C.
    • 5 OL subjects must include Math, English or English Literature and any AS subject, or 8 OLs which include Math, English or English Literature
    Required Documents
      • Official IGCSE Certificates stamped from the British Council
    • Proof of 12 or 11 Years of Schooling stamped from the Educational Administration
    • Original computerized Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Egyptian National ID & Passport
    • 6 passport sized photos
    • Military Forms 2 & 6 (Males only)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
    Admission Criteria

    For Engineering and Computing Programmes:

    • Six subjects are required including one
      Math and one Science course. Candidates must obtain a minimum score of 25 points

    For Design and Media Programmes:

    • Six subjects are required including Math.
    • Candidates must obtain a minimum score
      of 24 points

    • Proof of 12 Years of Schooling stamped from the Educational Administration

    • Copy of Egyptian National ID & Passport

  • Canadian Diploma
    Admission Criteria

    For Engineering and Computing Programmes:

    • Applicants must submit a minimum number of six subjects from grades 11 and 12
    • Six subjects are required, and they must include one Math and one Science subject
    • Applicants should have an equivalent score of 50%

    For Design and Media Programmes:

    • Applicants must submit a minimum number of six subjects from grades 11 and 12
    • Six subjects are required, and they must include Math
    • Applicants should have an equivalent score of 50%

    • Official Canadian Diploma Certificate
    • Proof of 12 Years of Schooling stamped from the Educational Administration
    • Original computerized Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Egyptian National ID & Passport

  • French Baccalaureate
    Admission Criteria

    For Engineering and Computing Programmes:

    • Applicants should have completed six subjects and a minimum score of 10/20 is required
    • Required courses should include one Math and one Science course

    For Design and Media Programmes:

    • Applicants should have completed six subjects and a minimum score of 10/20 is required
    • Six subjects are required including Math

  • German Abitur

Early Bird Admission Deadline: Thursday, 13th February, 2020

2020/21 Academic Year Tuition Fees Terms:

  • Payments for Egyptians can be either paid in Egyptian Pounds or the announced currency
  • Payment in Egyptian Pounds will be based on the Central Bank of Egypt announced exchange rate
  • A maximum of 10% increase on tuition fees will be applied annually
  • Tuition fees to be paid in two installments annually (1st installment for immediate payment upon receiving the final acceptance and 2nd installment by mid-December 2020)
  • Non-academic fees of EGP 10,000 to be paid annually with the 1st Installment of tuition fees
  • Lab fees of EGP 10,000 to be paid annually (starting from Year 1)
  • A deposit of EGP 5,000 as facility insurance – refundable at the end of academic studies if no damage occurs*Admission criteria for Year 1 will be announced soon.

2020/2021 Scholarships

A Special Scholarship up to GBP 3,000 for all Sep 2020 Foundation Year students and up to GBP 1,000 for all Sep 2020 Year 1 students!
