Coventry University Cairo Branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ahl Masr Foundation, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration focused on advancing clinical education, applied training, and research, while strengthening community impact.

Through this partnership, students at Coventry University Cairo Branch will benefit from structured research collaboration, specialised training programmes, and internship opportunities, in addition to extensive on-ground exposure within real clinical settings. Students will work alongside specialised treatment teams in Ahl Masr Foundation’s state-of-the-art hospitals, gaining hands-on experience using advanced medical equipment and contemporary clinical practices that bridge academic learning with professional healthcare environments.

The collaboration also extends to meaningful research initiatives, enabling students and faculty to contribute to applied and evidence-based research within specialised medical fields, further enhancing academic outcomes and practical relevance.

A key pillar of this partnership is Ahl Masr Foundation’s Safe Women Clinic, which provides free, integrated medical and psychological support to women and girls who are survivors of violence. As part of the MoU, Coventry University Cairo Branch at TKH will work closely with Ahl Masr Foundation to offer students supervised clinical experience within the Safe Women Clinic, allowing them to engage in care pathways that combine healthcare delivery with psychosocial support and ethical practice.

By combining academic excellence, clinical training, and social responsibility, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to developing well-rounded healthcare professionals while contributing positively to the wider community.
