Engineering students at The knowledge Hub visited El Sewedy Transformers, which is a factory equipment supplier located in the 10th of Ramadan district. The purpose of the field trip was to expose the students to the industry in real life and provide them with a better understanding to the manufacturing process.
The Knowledge Hub Field Trip
During the visit the Students were accompanied by Eng. Ashraf El Assal, Eng. Yahya El Shafee and Eng. Gamal Sorour who helped the students understand more about the Health, Safety and Environment which is one of the major departments in any factory as it concerned with procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations to protect employees, equipment’s and the environments. They also walked the students through the manufacturing processes of the factory.
The students felt that the trip was beneficial and had a positive feedback about the trip. One of the students stated that it was a great experience as he never got the chance to see how manufacturing process in real-life and that the process is way more complicated than he thought yet extremely exciting.
