On the 25th of May 2025, the School of Design and Media – Coventry University Branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamayoz Excellence Award. This milestone agreement sets the stage for a collaborative relationship aimed at fostering academic, creative, and professional opportunities for both parties.
The MoU outlines several areas of cooperation, including the launch of joint projects and activities, knowledge and expertise exchange such as guest lectures and workshops, sharing of publications, and collaboration on conferences, seminars, and training programs. It also includes joint cultural and continuing education programs, in addition to shared efforts in marketing and promotion.
As part of this agreement, Tamayoz Excellence Award has committed to actively participating as a jury member in relevant competitions, hosting future events at Coventry University’s Cairo campus, and involving faculty members from the university in award judging panels. They will also provide access to a network of professionals for participation in academic activities, offer registration discounts for students and faculty through corporate sponsorship packages, and promote the Coventry University Cairo Branch across their digital platforms. Furthermore, Tamayoz will present an annual showcase of their awards and support the international visibility of the school through their global network and forums.
In turn, the School of Design and Media – Coventry University Branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities will promote Tamayoz’s key events and announcements, explore hosting joint events, encourage student and faculty participation in Tamayoz competitions, and provide expert academic contributions, especially in architecture and design competitions. The school will also consider becoming part of Tamayoz’s annual sponsorship package to extend registration discounts to its community.
This MoU marks a significant step toward enhancing academic-industry collaboration, offering students and faculty enriching opportunities to engage with a globally recognized awards body and its professional network.
