The School of Computing at The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH) successfully hosted the kickoff event for the AI Caravan on February 27th. This marks the beginning of a six-month initiative dedicated to enhancing AI awareness and expertise across Egypt.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between IEEE Region 8, represented by Dr. Islam Tharwat, and TKH, represented by Dr. Yasser Sakr, President of TKH. This strategic partnership highlights TKH’s commitment to fostering technological advancements and strengthening collaborations between academia, industry, and government.
The event was led by Dr. Batoul Haidar and Dr. Haitham Ghalwash, Co-heads at TKH’s School of Computing, who emphasized the importance of AI literacy and its role in shaping the future of technology.
The AI Caravan initiative will feature a series of workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects designed to equip students, professionals, and researchers with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the evolving AI landscape. Through these efforts, TKH continues to position itself as a hub for innovation and technological excellence.
