Breaking News: Coventry University Branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities in Egypt Attains Degree Equivalency!

This degree equivalency initiative aims to streamline the process for graduating students, enabling them to register with the relevant Syndicates and present their accredited degrees alongside their military documents, particularly for male students, within the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Coventry University Branch was established at The Knowledge Hub Universities in accordance with the provisions of the International Branch Campus Law 162 of Foreign University Institutions. Graduates of Coventry University Branch at The Knowledge Hub Universities in Egypt will receive the same prestigious degree as their peers studying at the parent university in the UK, granting them the status of registered students at the esteemed institution.
To ensure a smooth transition and degree equivalency, the Supreme Council of Universities has issued the following decrees:
- Decree No. 202, dated 25/07/2021, to equivalate the Bachelor of Science in ‘Psychology‘ with the Bachelor of Arts in ‘Psychology‘ offered by Egyptian Universities.
- Decree No. 106, dated 08/05/2022, to equivalate the Bachelor of Arts in ‘Digital Media‘ with the Bachelor of Arts in ‘Mass Communication‘ offered by Egyptian Universities.
- Decree No. 326, dated 04/10/2021, to equivalate the Bachelor degrees of Science in ‘Computer Science‘, ‘Computing‘, and ‘Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity‘ with the Bachelor’s Degree in ‘Computer and Information‘ offered by Egyptian Universities.
- Decree No. 189, dated 06/07/2021, to equivalate the Bachelor of ‘Business Administration‘ (BBA), Bachelor of Arts in ‘Business and Marketing‘, Bachelor of Science in ‘Accounting and Finance‘, and Bachelor of Arts in ‘Business and Human Resources Management‘ with the Bachelor of ‘Business Administration‘ offered by Egyptian Universities.
- Decree No. 320, dated 19/09/2022, to equivalate the Bachelor degrees of Arts in ‘Graphic Design‘ and ‘Interior Architecture and Design‘ with the Bachelor’s Degree in ‘Applied Arts‘ offered by Egyptian Universities.
- Decree No. 151, dated 29/05/2023, to equivalate the Bachelor degrees of Engineering in ‘Civil Engineering‘, ‘Mechanical Engineering‘, and ‘Electrical and Electronic Engineering‘ with the Bachelor’s Degrees in ‘Engineering‘ offered by Egyptian Universities for Coventry University students who have completed 240 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).**Additionally, students who have completed three years of study in Engineering will be given the opportunity to study additional courses to fulfill the requirements set by the Supreme Council of Universities for degree equivalency with the Egyptian standards.
