The Knowledge Hub Universities (TKH) hosted Dr. Assem Ahmed Hassan, the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Sudan in Cairo, during an official meeting aimed at reinforcing academic cooperation and supporting Sudanese students pursuing higher education in Egypt.

The visit included a meeting with Mr. Mohamed Shawky, CEO of El Sewedy Education, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Acting President of TKH, Ms. Amina Elsewedy, Head of Company Affairs at El Sewedy Education, and Ms. Basma Elhadidy, Business Development and Partnership Manager at El Sewedy Education. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and exploring further avenues of academic partnership.

During the visit, the delegation also met with enrolled Sudanese students studying at the branches of Coventry University and NOVA University Lisbon hosted at TKH. A round of discussions took place, where students shared their experiences and raised several questions. The Embassy expressed its continued support for the students and reaffirmed its commitment to assisting them throughout their academic journey.

Under the proposed framework, Sudanese students applying to the Coventry University branch or the NOVA University branch at TKH will be granted tuition fee parity with Egyptian students for the academic year 2026–2027 and throughout their period of study. This initiative aims to enhance access to high-quality international education and support academic mobility within Egypt.

This engagement reflects TKH’s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic relations with Sudan and fostering inclusive educational opportunities that serve students from diverse backgrounds.
