To support you in your journey to joining us at Coventry University at TKH, we are pleased to offer the Coventry University English Language Test (CUET) for applicants to Coventry University degree programmes. The CUET can be taken online.
Entry Criteria
- You can book to take the Coventry University English language test online if you:
- Hold a conditional offer for studying at Coventry University at TKH.
- Have not breached the regulations of the Coventry University English Test in any previous attempt.
- Please contact admissions@tkh.edu.eg if you have any questions about whether you qualify for the CUET.
Test Details
About the Test
- Similar to IELTS, the test assesses all 4 components: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. It will take up to 4 hours to complete:
- Listening (30 mins) – you will be given three recordings to listen to. You must answer questions related to these recordings.
- Reading (60 mins) – you will be given three pieces of text to read. You must answer questions relating to each text.
- Writing (60 mins) – you will be expected to give two written responses to the prompts given, one response for each prompt.
- Speaking (12 mins) – you will be prompted to complete a number of speaking tasks during your online assessment.
All of the components will be tested during your selected test session.
Your session will be proctored online, your ID will be matched and your video, and your audio and screen will be recorded for the full duration of your session.
Proof of Identity
You will need to have a valid proof of your identity (passport or national ID) on your test day. You must use the same identity document you provided when submitting your application to Coventry University at TKH.
Results & Next Steps
Results
You will be contacted with the results of your test within 2 weeks. We will tell you if you have met the entry criteria or not. We will not provide a breakdown of your results. Results are not transferable to any other Institution; they are only valid for study at Coventry University – UK and Coventry University at TKH.
